When American Airlines approached us, they wanted to make every part of a traveler's journey sound just right.
Embarking on a thorough investigation into the travel sector, we studied competitive airlines and meticulously charted the traveler's experience. We examined everything from the audio clarity through speakers and headphones to how passengers interacted with screens and devices. We ventured into the emotional ebb and flow of the journey, contemplating the spectrum of feelings a traveler may encounter. And, of course, our team took to the skies by embarking on domestic and international flights to leave no detail unchecked.
Once we had a clear picture, we created a 360° Audio Identity System for rollout across every point of the journey, from inspiration to booking, app to terminal, lounge to plane, and departure to destination.
