FWD changes how people feel about insurance. A modern, human-centric brand, they needed an Audio Identity as dynamic as they are to help encapsulate their core mission: helping people Celebrate Living.
We performed a complete Audio Identity process to identify what Celebrate Living sounded like for FWD and developed an Audio Styleguide to help them maintain this brand sound over time.
To sonify their entire brand and excite their 6,000 employees across a variety of countries in Asia, we developed a Proprietary Music Library inclusive of genre variations (Hip Hop, Dance, Light-hearted, and Emotional Thematics) and region-specific variations highlighting traditional instrumentation from FWD offices in Japan, Cambodia, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. We also designed a suite of functional sounds for their website and chatbot, ringtones, and a “Monaural Beats” Thematic – which uses a sonic synthesis technique that has been shown to reduce anxiety.
